What do you get when you blend elements of the rustic and the nautical while maintaining a contemporary flair? A perfectly designed and stylized wedding by Heather Spear, founder and event planer, of Summit Soiree. The West Shore Cafe & Inn was the perfect backdrop for this beautiful affair. Nestled on the edge of Lake Tahoe’s west shore, the West Shore Cafe & Inn seamlessly blends the rustic and nautical as a perfect mountain lakeside wedding retreat. There were aspects of the rustic and nautical in the decor as well. Hand cut tree logs (by the bride's dad) engraved with the bride and groom's names and wedding date, wood frames and baby pinecones scattered throughout, the party favors as well as the invites, program and menu themselves reflected the rustic feel. A color pallet of navy and white--the bridesmaids dresses, table linens, paper products (wind mills, cocktail napkins, invitation) and florals--not to mention the rowboat filled with beer and the lantern lined ceremony aisle reflected the nautical feel. And who can forget to get the beautiful bride, Beverly, who was whimsical in her Monique Lhuillier dress and Christian Louboutins heels.--which I literally fell head over heals for. But the prettiest accesssory was Beverly's smile. She glowed the entire day. And when Adam saw his blushing bride for the first time at "First Look," he couldn't help but blush and smile too. Beverly and Adam, Your whole wedding shebang, was well.... pretty, pretty, and pretty emotional. You really know how to throw a fun yet classy soiree. Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey
That Monique Lhuillier "Candy" gown and the red bottomed Christian Louboutins--Gorgeous! I would be lying if I said I didn’t want to slip my toes in those shoes and twirl around in that a-line tulle gown. Can you blame me really? It’s stunning, and the Bride that did get to wear it--a classic blond beauty whose favorite movie so happens to be A Devil Wears Prada.
First Looks are "suppose" to be private time for the bride and groom. However, during Beverly and Adam's first look I turned to find these beautiful sirens lurking behind a tree. Nice try ladies! :)
Who can forget Kona from their engagement session?!
All of the gorgeous florals for the day were designed by Bellissima Floral Creations. The bride's bouquet was made of the flowers from each of the bridesmaids' bouquets.
While the girls were taking their photos, the boys were skipping rocks on the lake. Boys will be boys! :)
Love the following photo of Adam's dad, Ron, standing in honor of his new daughter while she processioned down the aisle.
I just love this photo beasue the guys are hugging and the girls are giving high 5s. :)
All I can say is WOW! rising Harvest Moon at sunset. :)

Jessica, thanks for all of your loving support and photography talent on this wedding. And thanks for being so much fun to photograph with. I wouldn't want anyone else with me when I fell head of heals to lend me a hand and laugh. :) Thanks for always being there for me.
