rustic, glam wedding | christine+alan | park winters, winters, ca

Ohhh blog I have missed you!  I am back with this little DYI beauty from bride and groom-Christine and Alan. Alan propsed to Chistine in June and it is amazing how Christine was able to pull of such a beautiful fall wedding in such a short period of time. From the brides sparkle, scarlet red Manolos to her cowboy boots-- Christine creaated a wedding that blended rustic charm with glam. With the help of family and friends and the charming country setting of Park Winters, Christine and Alan suceeded in putting together a perfect day. All the details they created from the mason jars of flowers, to the homemade honey jars perfectly brought their theme to life and the results are not only exquisite but fun. Christine and Alan, thank you for giving me the privelege to be a part of your special day. It was so sweet on so many levels. Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

Christine's dear mother was looking over her beautiful daughter on her special day.

simple elegant san francisco wedding | emily + adam | mark hopkins hotel & the university club, san francisco, ca

Emily and Adam's wedding was both an elegant and simple affair set in the traditional elegance of the The University Club, San Francisco.  The bride got ready at the top of Nob Hill at the Mark Hopkins with her little sisters, some close friends and her beautiful mom.  The colors of the room perfectly complemented the color scheme of her gorgeous florals and the bridemaids' dresses.  Meanwhile, the groom, Adam, and his groomsmen, were 2 floors up ironing pocket squares to perfection while drinking scotch. After a sweet moment with her dad (see photo below), Emily was off to see Adam for the first time at the "First Look." The ceremony and the reception was full of great moments including a traditional Jewish ceremony, some pretty entertaining and emotional speeches and a hilarious toast by the bride's great friend, Kate. But it was her baby sister Grace who stole the show when she sang with the band in honor of the bride and groom.  Look out Adele! Emily and Adam, I just loved being a part of your special day.  It couldn't have been anymore perfect. Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

The watch photographed below belolnged to Adam's Dad.

Who's looking handsome for his "First Look" with his bride, Emily? :)

Sing it Grace!

Proud Dad watching his daughter sing.

It takes a team of professionals that work with the bride and groom to pull such an amazing day: Venue & Caterer, The Univerity Club | Wedding Planner, Jamie Samples of Wylie Weddings | Hair & Makeup, Katie Nash Beauty and Stephani at Fabulous Beauty | Florals, Wylie Weddings | Bakery, DeLessio Catering | Band

I am always at a lose for words when it comes to thanking my fabulous team. Jenna....well you are the best! Thank you so much!

fall inspired winery wedding | michelle+david | casa real at ruby hill winery, livermore, ca

Fall is one of my favorite times of year.  I just love the crisp weather, the colors of fall foliage, and the idea of cozy coats, hats and scarves.  So I was in heaven when I arrived at Michelle and David's autumn inspired wedding at Casa Real at the Ruby Hill Winery.  Their color palette was rich with warm autumn colors of deep red, orange, bright yellows, and deep purple. The floral bouquets had a hint of berries and the center pieces were done in fall branches with the yellow leaves.  Michelle and David's wedding was also rich with emotion--tears from the groom when Michelle came down the aisle, tears of laugher from the bride's sisters during their speech, and lots and lots of giggles. Needless to say, Michelle made for a stunning bride and David a dashing groom.  Their chemistry was so authentic and sweet to photograph.  So enjoy this taste of fall that is Michelle and David's beautiful winery wedding! xoxo, Stacey

It takes the love of many people to put together a beautiful wedding: Videographer, Graham King of Final Frame | Venue & Caterer, Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery, Pleasanton, CA | Hair & Makeup  |  Florals | Bakery | DJ | Decorations

And of course a very big thank you to Jenna for her constant support and muse. :)

san francisco wedding with modern elegance | elizabeth + morgan | st. regis hotel, san francisco, ca

Elizabeth and Morgan love San Francisco. It required little thought to have their dream wedding at The St. Regis in downtown San Francisco in the fall. And unless you live in San Francisco, the weather in San Francisco in October is the city's best kept secret--Perfection at 75 degrees!  The St. Regis' modern elegance perfectly defined their style. The floral color touches of purple complement the neutral shades of grey and white at the St Regis keeping with the modern theme.  One of my favorite moments was when Elizabeth's mom so proudly helped her beautiful daughter get into her wedding dress. :)  Another touching moment was when Elizabeth and Morgan saw each other for the first time. It was a lot of fun shooting the wedding party in the back ally of the St. Regis.  I love mixing the nitty gritty of the city with the glamour and clean design of a wedding. The wedding ceremony on the terrace with its expansive views was so pretty as well as emotional, and the reception that followed was full of energy lead by a rockin' band. Elizabeth and Morgan, what a beautiful day!  As you said Elizabeth, I am so happy I got to be a part of your fairytale day. Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

Morgan and his handsome son getting ready.

Hello Bond, James Bond. :)

While Morgan waits to see his beautiful bride for the first time at the "First Look," he reflects on his personal vows to Elizabeth.

Thanks to the team of people who collaborated on this wedding: Wedding Planners | Hair & Makeup, Katie Nash Beauty | Florals | Band

And of course, another HUGE thank you to the always fabulous Jessica! Your friendship and talents mean so much to me. :)

Contemporary, Rustic Lakeside Wedding | Beverly+Adam | Westshore Cafe, Homewood, Tahoe, CA

What do you get when you blend elements of the rustic and the nautical while maintaining a contemporary flair?  A perfectly designed and stylized wedding by Heather Spear, founder and event planer, of Summit Soiree. The West Shore Cafe & Inn was the perfect backdrop for this beautiful affair. Nestled on the edge of Lake Tahoe’s west shore, the West Shore Cafe & Inn seamlessly blends the rustic and nautical as a perfect mountain lakeside wedding retreat. There were aspects of the rustic and nautical in the decor as well.  Hand cut tree logs (by the bride's dad) engraved with the bride and groom's names and wedding date, wood frames and baby pinecones scattered throughout, the party favors as well as the invites, program and menu themselves reflected the rustic feel. A color pallet of navy and white--the bridesmaids dresses, table linens, paper products (wind mills, cocktail napkins, invitation) and florals--not to mention the rowboat filled with beer and the lantern lined ceremony aisle reflected the nautical feel. And who can forget to get the beautiful bride, Beverly, who was whimsical in her Monique Lhuillier dress and Christian Louboutins heels.--which I literally fell head over heals for. But the prettiest accesssory was Beverly's smile. She glowed the entire day.  And when Adam saw his blushing bride for the first time at "First Look," he couldn't help but blush and smile too.  Beverly and Adam, Your whole wedding shebang, was well.... pretty, pretty, and pretty emotional. You really know how to throw a fun yet classy soiree. Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

That Monique Lhuillier "Candy" gown and the red bottomed Christian Louboutins--Gorgeous! I would be lying if I said I didn’t want to slip my toes in those shoes and twirl around in that a-line tulle gown. Can you blame me really? It’s stunning, and the Bride that did get to wear it--a classic blond beauty whose favorite movie so happens to be A Devil Wears Prada.

First Looks are "suppose" to be private time for the bride and groom. However, during Beverly and Adam's first look I  turned to find these beautiful sirens lurking behind a tree.  Nice try ladies! :)

Who can forget Kona from their engagement session?!

All of the gorgeous florals for the day were designed by Bellissima Floral Creations. The bride's bouquet was made of the flowers from each of the bridesmaids' bouquets.

While the girls were taking their photos, the boys were skipping rocks on the lake. Boys will be boys! :)

Love the following photo of Adam's dad, Ron, standing in honor of his new daughter while she processioned down the aisle.

I just love this photo beasue the guys are hugging and the girls are giving high 5s. :)

All I can say is WOW! rising Harvest Moon at sunset. :)

There was an AMAZING team of professionals and artists who put this beautiful soiree together: Wedding Coordinator, Planner & Designer Heather Spear,Summit Soiree | Hair, Laura Seegmiller, BellaVita Sakon & Makeup, Jennifer Ergut  | Venue & Caterer, West Shore Cafe & Inn, Homewood, CA | Florals, Bellissima Floral Creations | Bakery, Tahoe House Bakery & Gourmet | DJ Ty Kirkpatrick of North Shore Entertainment| Officiant, Rev. Ron Darby | Decorations

Jessica, thanks for all of your loving support and photography talent on this wedding. And thanks for being so much fun to photograph with. I wouldn't want anyone else with me when I fell head of heals to lend me a hand and laugh. :) Thanks for always being there for me.

rustic hacienda ranch wedding | kristen+brian | holman ranch, carmel valley, ca

Kristen and Brian's  wedding took place at a beautiful hacienda ranch nestled in the pastoral hills of Carmel Valley.  The bride and groom along with Allison Silber of Engaged and Inspired put a lot of thought and planning into their rustic and elegant wedding.  And many of the decorations  were  handmade by the bride herself. The day started with a private religious ceremony in the chapel, followed by a traditional ceremony officiated by long time friend, Collin Conoley from Porkchop Express (Brian's Band). Their humorous yet sentimental personal vows were a highlight of the day. Their reception was held in the courtyard where tables were decorated with old books and simple yet elegant flowers. Guests were treated to roasted pig and veggies grilled by Caterer, Paradise Catering- Jon Kasky.  Then Kristen, Brian and I hijacked a golf cart to sneak off for some pretty sweet sunset photos.  Upon our return, Kristen and Brian cut their homemade pie(s) baked by Gizdich Ranch followed by dancing in Holman’s beautiful barn to the amazing Smokin' J's.  And I almost forgot to mention the bourbon bar that was set up so guests could indulge in a night cap.  Kristen and Brian, I am so glad you chose me to photograph your perefectly planned and execuuted wedding. The whole wedding was so beautiful and the two of you were such a joy to photograph!  Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

Brian is one lucky guy! Kristen you are gorgeous. :)

First Look time! Shhhhhh...... :)

I just love sneaking my bride and groom off for sunset photos. :)

charming wedding by the sea | elena+derrick | oceano hotel & spa, half moon bay, ca

This wedding can be summed up in one word--absolutely charming! (OK so that is 2 words. :)) There are so many special touches wrapped up in Elena and Derrick's charming Oceano affair, I am not even sure where to begin and most of them aren't even related to decor.  Since the wedding was in Half Moon Bay at the Oceano Hotel & Spa, Elena and Derrick wanted to have touches of the nautical reflected throughout their day. Elena handmade most of the decorations herself--from the hand painted starfish to the message in a bottles as well as the center pieces. But the most charming part of this wedding was Elena and Derrick. They were and are a bundle of heartwarming emotion not only for each other but those around them. There were so many moments from their exchange of personal vows and rings to Derrick's mom's touching yet funny speech at reception.  But one of my favorite and creative moments of the day came at "First Look" from the groom where Derrick presented Elena with his wedding gift.  He bought her a charm bracelet and had charms revealing their honeymoon destinations (see photo below). Elena and Derrick, It was so beautiful to see your love for each other, your faith, family and friends exemplified throughout the day. And I am so happy that I got to be the photographer to witness and capture it all. Thank you! Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

Always love the First Look. :)

A very emotional flower presentation to the moms and grandma.

Elena and Derrick were both crying so much they started to laugh.

This beautiful wedding couldn't been done without the love and support of friends and family as well as various professionals: Hair & Makeup | Coordinator | Caterer | Florals |  Cake | DJ | Officiant | Decorations, the bride

And of course to my AMAZING team! Thank you Jessica and Chelsea! I love you gals!

Tiffany Blue, Tahoe Wedding | Audrey+Shane | Edgewood Tahoe, CA

What girl doesn't love Tiffany blue or the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's? Breakfast at Tiffany’s is one of my very favorite films and seeing the hints of Tiffany blue throughout the wedding--the bridesmaids dresses, the bride's modern Tiffany blue heels, the program, the cake, some bling in the bouquets, to the actual Tiffany blue box that contained the gift from Shane the groom-- made me smile.  And in many ways this wedding is a perfect modern twist with inspired hints of the movie. I love how the Tiffany blue and white compliment the Tahoe venue…utterly beautiful. Audrey, the bride was elegant, glamorous, and fun just like Miss Golightly herself. Not to mention the way Shane looked at his bride, which perfectly reflected the sentiment and quote from the movie, “Did I tell you how divinely and utterly happy I am?” Just look at the photos of Audrey and Shane below. Audrey and Shane, I just loved your day and not to mention the two of you--watching you guys and photographing your smiles was such a privilege. Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

I discovered this beautiful field down the way from where Shane and Audrey were getting ready and thought it was perfect for their "First Look" site.

I love this new trend in bouquets.  The bride's bouquet (top center) has the flowers of all of the indiviual bridesmaids flowers.

Look who made my blog post? :) Katherine my second shooter captured this photo of me wearing Audrey's veil while photographing the wedding party. It was very windy that day and her veil was going crazy.

It takes a community of professionals to put together a wedding: Hair, Leah Troxell | Makeup, Natalie Cusson | Coordinator | Caterer, Edgewood |  Florals, Flowers by Terri | Cake  | DJ | Officiant  | Videographer

And a huge thank you to Katherine for stepping in as a second shooter and doing an amazing job! :)

engagement | kristen+jack | lyon's steps, palace of fine arts, ferry building | san francisco, ca

I don't typically get to photograph engagement sessions in the midst of my busy wedding season, but Kristen and Jack were relocating to Boston to set up a life there before their wedding back here in April. (As a matter of fact, Kristen turned over her keys to her San Francisco apartment just hours before.) Kristen and Jack decided to illustrate their engagement session with some San Francisco landmarks as the backdrop.  Even though the Golden Gate Bridge decided to completely disappear, the San Francisco fog created a romantic atmosphere in the city for this adorable couple.  We headed up the infamous Lyon steps for some initial photos and then back down to the Palace of Fine arts.  And then trekked to the pier just north of the Ferry Building for some amazing twilight photos.  I just love these photos!  Kristen and Jack's chemistry coupled with the moody light of the bridge, cityscape, and pier as well as the rolling fog, was a perfect recipe for romance.  Kristen and Jack, I am so glad I got to spend my evening with you two. Everything came together so nicely to showcase your romance and happiness.  Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey P.S. After their session, they hopped on an airplane to Boston. And I thought I had a full day. :)

vintage, romantic wedding | whitney + matt | elliston vineyards, sunol, ca

Where vintage meets romance, there sits a happy little wedding nestled in a quiet canyon set far back from the highway on a secluded road. Elliston Vineyards is the home to a 17-room stone mansion that is over 100 years old on a small vineyard that produced wine since the late 1890′s.  Whitney and Matt wanted a wedding that would capture both of their personalities. Whitney brought the vintage and romantic feel reflected in the blush, yellow and pink florals as well as the lace, shabby chic pillows.  Matt brought the party in a bottle. Tables were named after breweries and at the place settings were bottled beer brewed by the groom himself. "Find your beer. Find your brewery....and celebrate the good days." Get ready for a whole lot of pretty, bottled fun. Whitney and Matt, It was such a joy and privilege to photograph your beautiful wedding. Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

Off to First Look to see her groom! :)

Matt is so happy to see his beautiful bride!

Kudos to the various professionals who had their talented hans in this beautiful wedding: Hair & Makeup, Candice from Citrus Salon | Day of Coordinator, Katie Montgomery of Elliston Vineyards | Caterer, Elliston Vineyards |  Florals, Angels Petals | Cake and Cupcakes, Evelyne Barreneche | DJ | Officiant, Mary | Decorations, DTI, the bride

elegant, winery wedding | brie+chris | the rose hotel, pleasanton, ca | murrieta's well, livermore, ca

Winery weddings are often associated with Napa and Sonoma County.  However, there are some other hidden gems in the San Francisco Bay Area including this charming wedding venue. Murrieta's Well served as the setting for Brie and Chris' wedding. This little piece of wedding gorgeousness is about as romantic and emotional as you can possibly get. With handmade details from Etsy infused into every corner, a bride floating in a cloud of champagne dress goodness, the pretty pink and orange flowers accented with berries and peacock blue ribbon, and not to mention the handsome groom, Chris, with his love letter that brought his bride to tears (see photo below) will make your heart pitter patter.  Sounds pretty amazing, right? These winery nuptials have all of that and more with design and styling by the bride for an intimate and fun family gathering. Brie and Chris, What an emotional day!  From the getting ready to First Look, to the ceremony, to the Father Daughter dance, you two took advantage of every moment.  I love you guys! Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

Katie Nash always does an amazing job on hair and make-up.

I think I was crying too when Brie was reading her love letter from Chris on her wedding day. Good thing Katie was there to touch up. :)

Another gorgeous First Look--when the bride and groom see each before the wedding. I love to set the bride and groom up in this figuration so when the groom turns around he can see his bride from head to toe in all her glory. :)

Brie and Chris love dogs and have 2 of their own, Chewy and Teddy Bear, as shown in their engagement session. As a matter of fact, they love dogs so much, that in lieu of traditional favors, they made a charitable donation in their guests' honor to arf, Animal Rescue Foundation. Amazingness! Anyways...I digress.  Chewy and Teddy Bear couldn't be present for the wedding. However, this precious pooch strutted its stuff for Brie while we did their First Look. Adorable!

Chris' very emotional speak thanking all of the people who have influenced him throughout his life. An amazing speech!

The bride and groom worked so hard to coordinate and make this her dream wedding. And it couldn't been done without the love and support of friends and family as well as various professionals: Hair & Makeup, Katie Nash Beauty | Day of Coordinator, Stacey Wakefield | Videographer, Justin Fone Productions | Caterer, Wente Vineyards |  Florals, Anne Mendenhall Flowers | Cake(s) | DJ | Officiant, Mark Wollan of Community Presbyterian Church of DanvilleCommunity Presbyterian Church of Danville | Decorations, the bride and Etsy

And my FABULOUS team does it yet again! Thank you Jenna and Chelsea! I love you gals!

Chic, Tahoe Wedding | Roxanne+Michael | Edgewood Tahoe, CA

It’s no secret that Lake Tahoe is a great place to vacation whether it is skiing in the winter and/or swimming and hiking in the summer.  But it’s a ultra special place to get married too. Edgewood is set right against the deep, blue of Lake Tahoe. The beautiful, soft colors of the florals were the perfect compliment to the mountain and lake venue. The whole wedding, planned by the bride herself with the help of her family and friends, was so perfect.  The bride is gorgeous in her strapless gown with her hair cascading down her back and Jimmy Choo shoes sparkling on her feet.  And the groom....his best accessory was his smile.  He never stopped smiling and showing his love and joy for his beautiful bride.  Roxanne and Michael, You're married!  What a fun and glorious wedding. I am so glad you gave me the opportunity to photograph your chic wedding.  Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

And off she goes to First Look. I love it when the Bride and Groom see each before the wedding. :)

Some of the professionals who made this wedding so pretty: Videographer, Travis Hoehne | Caterer, Edgewood Tahoe | Hair | Makeup | Florals, Thran's Flowers | Cake(s) | DJ, Direct Entertainment | Officiant, David | Decorations, the bride and her sister-in-law Laurel

And of course, another HUGE thank to Jenna. Shooting with you not only makes me a better photographer but a better person. :) What an incredible weekend of weddings. :)

engagement | audrey+shane | north beach, san francisco, ca

I haven't posted an engagement session in awhile. And anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE engagement sessions. It gives me an opportunity to really get to know my bride and groom. Audrey and Shane chose North Beach in San Francisco as their location. We happened to capture some amazing moments all within a 4 block radius. Not only was the weather gorgeous, their precious pooch was so well behaved and stole my heart. (Audrey and Shane's boxer, Niner, is being treated for Cancer. And he lasted the entire session without a bark.)  Audrey and Shane, Thanks for all of the laughs. I am looking forward to your wedding this weekend in Tahoe. Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

Hot!

traditional, church & garden wedding | camille+jeff | st. mary's college, moraga, ca | shadelands, walnut creek, ca

When I first met with Camille and Jeff,  Camille vividly described to me her dream as a little girl walking down the aisle into the arms of her husband-to-be.  Well...Camille's dream came true when she wed Jeff at St. Mary's College in Moraga. It was a very emotional day for Camille and Jeff--from walking down the aisle to their first dance. You could feel the love. This traditional church ceremony was followed by a garden soiree at the Shadelands in Walnut Creek. It was chock-full of DIY goodness--highlighted by the dreamy color palette of pinks, whites and various hues of green. Not only did Jeff and his family string the lights that swept over the garden venue,  Camille's Aunt made their wedding cakes. Yes, cakes!  One traditional, romantic cake topped with flowers and an custom, etched topper, and a Dallas Cowboys cake for Jeff. Love it!   Camille and Jeff, Your wedding was full of love, joy, and beauty. I fell so privileged to have been a part of your day. :) Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

Sophisticated, Tahoe Wedding | Jen+Jason | Martis Camp, Truckee, CA

With the stunning Sierras as their wedding backdrop, it’s easy to see why this gorgeous couple wanted to feature the natural beauty of their venue setting. Their love of the outdoors mixed with their fun and chic personalities reflected throughout. This sophiscated wedding couldn't have been pulled off without the amazingness of Help Me Get Hitched.  All of the details – including the ever so important Barbie and Ken cake topper as well as the table cards of all of the places that have meaning to them – personalized the event.   Jen and Jason, You two are not only a beautiful couple, but the day you created for your family and friends was stunning. One word WOW! Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

Love this photo of Jason waiting for Jen.  Once again, I love when couples decide to do a "First Look" when the bride and groom see each before the wedding.

Hello pretty Ladies! :)

What an incredible view Martis Camp has to offer.

No detail was spared.

As a mother of 2 boys, I love this photo of Jason and his mom during their dance.

After Jason's brother's emotional Best Man speech, Jason shared this moment with his little bro.

(See photos below)  J and T's wedding had many personal touches down to the yummy donuts in lieu of a wedding cake. And boy do they have chemistry, just look at the photos.  They were clung at the hip the entire day. J + T, What an emotional day for the 2 of you surrounded by the love of close family and friends. Thank you for the opportunity to photograph your amazing day. Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

elegant san francisco | lindsay+wyatt | omni hotel, san francisco | city club, san francisco

A number of key moments of Lindsay and Wyatt's story are all centered within this great city of San Francisco. Wyatt proposed to Lindsay at the iconical Palace of Fine Arts. On the day of the wedding, Lindsay and Wyatt chose to meet up at the Omni Hotel for the "First Look"--where the bride and groom see each other before the wedding.  From there, Lindsay, Wyatt and the wedding party walked a couple of blocks to the City Club on the way capturing some of my favorite photos of the day.  The City Club is in the Old Stock Exchange Tower-- a wonderful, art deco, financial district venue. Lindsay and Wyatt took attention to every detail. And each detail was beautiful.  The colors were rich in vibrant purples and pinks.  I especially loved how the bakery and catering service stylized and showcased the wedding cake--bellisimo. But the sweetest detail of all-- Lindsay's baby keepsake bonnet that became her hankie on her wedding day and the precious poem that came with it (see photos below).  It read:

THE MAGIC HANKY

I’m just a little hanky,
as square as can be.
But with a small stitch or two
they made a bonnet out of me.
I’ll be worn from the hospital
or as the christening day.
Then I will be carefully pressed
and neatly packed away.

For her wedding day,
so we’ve been told,
Every well dressed bride must have
that something old
So what could be more fitting
than to find little me.
A few fine stitches snipped,
and a wedding hanky I’ll be.

And if perchance it’s a boy
some day he’ll surely wed.
So to his bride,
he can present the hanky
Once worn upon his head.

Lindsay and Wyatt,  The day was amazing, jubilant, elegant and so beautiful.  Thank you for having be be a part of your wonderful day. Congratulations!  Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

Lindsay's and Wyatt's "First Look."

wine country garden wedding | emiko+adrian | healdsburg country gardens, healdsburg, ca

I am completely blown away at how Emiko and Adrian planned and coordinated this beautiful wine country garden wedding from Philadelphia while Adrian was completing his MBA at University of Pennsylvania. I love the bright, colorful and vivacious color palette of purple hues that Emiko and Adrian for their day.  Many of their friends and family flew in from all over to celebrate as far away as Japan. Everywhere I turned there was a smile on everyone's faces.  This wedding was the definition of joy.  Emiko and Adrian, Thank you for giving me the privilege to capture your special day.  Both of you moved through the day with such grace and love.  Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

Love capturing a "First Look"--when the bride and groom see each other before the wedding.

charming backyard garden wedding | laura + bo | redwood city, ca

I am just so in love with this DYI backyard, garden beauty created by the bride and groom with the help of their family and friends.  It is a fabulous mix of vintage elegance and country charm.  Laura's Aunt and Uncle hosted the affair at their "Father of the Bride"-like home--with the white picket fence and green shutters.  Not only did the bride's Aunt open up her home, she also let Laura borrow her wedding veil (see photo below of Laura's Aunt putting her veil on.)  And of course I would be remiss if I didn’t say something about their dapper doggies (Rusty and Jake) – it would be impossible to steal the spotlight from this gorgeous couple, but these pooches--dressed to impress in their plaid bow ties--could come close! There is so much more pretty to be seen including the cuteness of the ring barer and adorable flowergirls. Laura and Bo, WOW! What an incredible beautiful wedding. All of your hard work paid off, and fun was had by all.  Enjoy!!! xoxo, Stacey

Off for sunset photos.... Love the light right before and especially after sunset--creamy, yummy light! :)
